Ellie Yang
Ellie Yang is a current High School Student attending Mercersburg Academy. For the longest time, she has dreamt of publishing her own book. And so, integrating her love for science and art, she begun the insane journey called "And you ask why" scientific children book series. Currently with two available books, The Memory Garden and The Digestive Factory, Ellie hopes to spread awareness on critical health issues and advocate for education all across the globe.
Ellie's biggest inspiration is her family. Her first book is dedicated to her grandmother, who had sadly passed of Alzheimer's Disease. Her second book is dedicated to her father, who had catapulted her into being an author and illustrator, providing love and support along with her mom.
Right now, Ellie's books are available on amazon.com as paperbacks and she is currently in the process of translating her books into Spanish and Chinese.
Ellie does book reading and signings at the local libraries and with the Mercersburg community.
And You Ask Why
Discover the enchanting "And you ask why" series, a children book series seeking to explore different critical health issues, like Alzheimer's Disease, through vibrant colors and creative storyline.
Ellie's mission is to bring health awareness to everyone of all ages. Her series focuses on health and education advocacy, and has been so far enjoyed by people of all ages.

Join Ellie at Fendrick Library in Mercersburg PA on Wednesday for story time with children! Available for Children of all ages, Ellie will be reading "The Memory Garden".
