The Memory Garden

The children’s book starts of with a beautiful memory garden in a little town. However, a few once vibrant flowers have wilted, concerning the town children. They ask their beloved Grandmother Rose as to why.

Grandmother Rose tells them a little story on Alzheimer’s disease. She explains how it affects the flowers and the environment around them. Through beautiful imagery and comparisons, it teaches young children to appreciate the time they have with their loved ones and that even though some flowers may wilt, new ones will grow.
